Welcome, and thanks for dropping by! I'm an author, audio producer, photographer, public speaker, and educator with more than 45 years of experience in the technology industry. I've written more than 90 books and hundreds of articles on a wide variety of topics. I know--bad habit. But I love the craft, and I love to tell stories. Most of my books came about because of my work in the technology world. I am fascinated by the place where technology and people come together to create societal change in all its forms. But now, magic is beginning to creep in as I apply my extensive knowledge of technology to create works of fiction that depend on the extraordinary things that technology can do. My novels, "Russet," "The Nation We Knew," "BrightStar," "Inca Gold Spanish Blood," all rely on technology as a critical underpinning of their stories. When it came out, "The Nation We Knew" became the number one bestselling title in political fiction worldwide on Amazon for a couple of weeks because of its message; my follow-on title, "BrightStar," attracted attention from technologists who want to make the technology that is the theme of the book, and central to the story, real. Thanks to a childhood spent in Spain, I'm native fluent in Spanish and routinely publish and deliver presentations in that language. I live in Vermont with my wife Sabine, who has put up with me for more than 45 years.
