Sara Raztresen

Sara Raztresen is a Slovene-American writer and graduate of Emerson College’s Popular Fiction and Publishing MFA program. She has had short stories, non-fiction, and poems published across several online literary magazines such as The Paragon Press: Echo and Waxing & Waning Literary Press, and has placed in Rhode Island College's Film Talent Awards with her original works.​

As the daughter of an immigrant, raised with one foot in two worlds, Sara draws on her cultural heritage and blends them with her lived experiences to her work. Her writing is an attempt to explain the world she sees, and where she finds herself in it.
