Jennifer Nagel

Jennifer Nagel teaches philosophy at the University of Toronto, Canada. Her research covers both historical and contemporary topics in the theory of knowledge, ranging from 17th century debates about scepticism to current controversies about the context-sensitivity of the verb “to know”. Much of her recent work focuses on epistemic intuitions—natural instincts about knowledge—and the question of exactly what these instincts can tell us about knowledge itself.
