Tracey Miller-Zarneke has long been fascinated with the world of animation, way beyond her credited roles on the feature films MEET THE ROBINSONS, CHICKEN LITTLE and THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE. She has authored fourteen books on the art of animation for five different studios, and also wrote BEFORE EVER AFTER: THE LOST LECTURES OF WALT DISNEY'S ANIMATION STUDIO in partnership with the legendary Don Hahn. Tracey worked as the technical editor for the second and third editions of the textbook PRODUCING ANIMATION and as an editorial advisor for DIRECTING FOR ANIMATION. She also serves on the board of directors for the organization Women in Animation.
In the non-animated realm, Tracey is a UCLA graduate, a proponent of eco-minded living, a fan of beach time and yoga practice, and a lover of good food and wine shared with friends. She lives in Los Angeles and channels her positive energy into work as a writer, community service, and cheering at sporting events for her two sons.
