Adam Burns is Head of Politics at Brighton College. He has written widely on the political history of the United States and imperialism. He is the author of three books, numerous articles and book chapters, and co-edited the recent collection "Sports and the American Presidency: From Theodore Roosevelt to Donald Trump" (Edinburgh University Press, 2022).
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and the Royal Historical Society, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
