Malcolm Bucholtz, B.Sc., MBA, M.Sc., resides in western Canada where he writes and researches on a variety of topics.
Attending an astrology conference in 2012 motivated Malcolm to delve deep into how planetary aspects influence price cycles of stocks, commodities and major indices. Malcolm has published a number of books on the subject of financial astrology and each year produces the Financial Astrology Almanac.
Malcolm has also been making beer, wine and mead for over 30 years. In 2014, the successful completion of the General Certificate in Distilling exam from the UK-based Institute for Brewing & Distilling (IBD) propelled him headlong into the world of distilled spirits. Malcolm has gained a reputation in Canada for teaching distillery courses, assisting start-up craft distilleries with Business Plan development, formulating unique recipes and providing contract distilling services. He has written two books related to distilling. In 2020 as Malcolm was finishing his M.Sc. thesis project, he engaged in some work as a crop insurance
hail adjustor so as to learn more about cereal grain growth stages. This insurance adjusting experience resulted in the book entitled Frozen Fury: Agricultural Crops and Hail Damage.
