Miryung Pitts

Originally from Korea, I fell in love with the English language as a young student and pursued it all the way to a degree in English Language at university. My passion led me to the United States, where I spent seven transformative years exploring various educational cultures and pedagogies. In the U.S., I honed my skills in English language education, constantly exploring innovative and engaging ways to make learning not just effective but also enjoyable for my students. My experiences in Korea and abroad have inspired me to create a series of educational materials aimed at sparking curiosity and enthusiasm among young learners. My debut book is a rich collection of resources, including worksheets, flashcards, and interactive games, covering essential topics such as shapes, numbers, and money. Building on that foundation, my second book expands into more complex subjects like professions, emotions, and transportation, offering ESL teachers a robust toolkit for crafting dynamic and impactful lessons. My teaching philosophy centers on learning through play and active engagement. I am committed to empowering educators to instill a lifelong passion for language learning in their students.
