I am a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) and certified pulmonary function technician and know firsthand how difficult and confusing learning about respiratory therapy can be. In an effort to help current respiratory therapy students navigate their way through complex subjects and literature, I’ve written seven books about respiratory therapy that break the subject down into simple and concise language.
I graduated with a B.S. in Health Science from Nova Southeastern University and am currently working as a critical care respiratory therapist. I regularly perform pulmonary function testing and I created simulation testing software to help respiratory therapist students practice for the National Board of Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC RRT) exam.
I measure my success as an author and educator by the success of my students and readers. The positive reviews of my books and the emails I receive from grateful students help to motivate me to continue to help those who are currently studying to become a registered respiratory therapist. My first book, Ventilator Modes Made Easy, remains a bestseller in Respiratory Therapy books and I have since written seven books on respiratory therapy and one book on all of the best dad jokes.
