Victoria Hay, grew up in Saudi Arabia. After returning to the United States, she made herself unemployable by acquiring a Ph.D. in English. She drifted into journalism, where, between stints as a freelance writer and editor, she served as an editor at the multi-award-winning Arizona Highways and Phoenix magazines. She published several books and contributed to regional and national periodicals, writing mostly on business, popular science, and history. She also engineered a 15-year career as a university professor and administrator. She now operates Plain & Simple Press, publisher of nonfiction and trade fiction, and Camptown Races Press, which publishes "Racy Books for Racy Readers." For Camptown Races she writes as Roberta Stuart. Amazon will not feature those books here, because they see the three versions of her legal name as "pen names" and won't allow a fourth pen name at this author page. So: for Vicky's most recent books, simply visit the Camptown Races Press website (http://camptownracespress.com) or search "Roberta Stuart" in Amazon Books.
