Brenda Cartwright

Brenda E. Cartwright, CSC, CI and CT is a seasoned interpreter, master teacher and a well known presenter. She holds a bachelors degree in deaf education and a masters degree in education. Brenda was the Chair of the Sign Language Interpreter Program at Lansing Community college for over 30 years. A Coda who has a cat named Coda. Her hobbies include triathlon training, mountain bike racing and napping. In addition she is the author of several bestselling textbooks: Sign Language Interpreting Exploring Its Art and Science, Encounters With Reality: 1001 Interpreter Scenarios, Fingerspelling in American Sign Language, Numbering in American Sign Language, Multiple Meanings in American Sign Language and most recently Lessons and Activities in American Sign Language.
