J.E. Klimek

J.E. Klimek experienced some unique medical issues, including encephalitis as a five-year-old that resulted in seizures throughout grade school, high school, and college. After brain surgery at UCLA to remove damaged tissue, he had a few years free of seizures before being taken off meds--causing withdrawal and restarting the seizures to an even worse degree. Klimek has used his medical issues to create a unique viewpoint of life, death, and challenges that all men and women face.

Klimek has published several poems in anthologies as well as a novel ("Winter's Provision") about depression. He is currently working on a new series (The Dravyn Prophecies) of fantasy novels. He is eager to share his view of life through his writing. Having received an M.F.A., a terminal degree in writing, he continues to write fiction and poetry often to connect with and encourage people who are struggling with life issues.

Recently, he has also begun exposing a cult known has Homestead Heritage. It is a community in Waco, TX that has kept its reputation from going the wrong direction by hiding its teachings and putting on a pleasant facade. After having multiple friends join, Klimek has been tormented by what he sees they've joined. He is now exposing this cult on YouTube (on the channel Chained Ambassador) and writing about it in "Surrendering Your Self".

He wants his writing to encourage people to see the world from a different point of view and to gain insights into life and death that cause you to think and reflect on your own life experiences to find a clear view of what is happening around you.
