Andrew S. Bledsoe

Andrew S. Bledsoe is a Professor of History at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. A historian of the Civil War and the American military, he specializes in military leadership, citizen-soldiers, and the American military tradition. He earned his M.A. and Ph.D. from Rice University, and has held fellowships from the United States Military Academy at West Point, the US Army Center for Military History, and the Gilder Lehrman Center at Yale University.
