Richelle Shaw

Richelle Shaw was born in Riverside, California and from an early age, she loved business. She has built, bought and sold 4 businesses. Moving to Las Vegas for free rent, she was recruited to work in sales for a local telephone company. Later she bought the business from her boss and became the only female African American Public Utility Owner in the United States. She built her first business from $300,000 to $36 million in less than 5 years, then lost it all after the 9-11 Tragedies. But then she rebuilt her million dollar business in less than 6 months. Her first book – How to Build a Million Dollar Business in Las Vegas – Without the Casinos, details the process. In The Million Dollar Equation, Richelle found the unique 9 steps that she used to build not only her business but her coaching and consulting clients’ businesses. The recent book, The Million Dollar Equation for Doctors fills in the gaps that are left from medical school on how to quickly build a successful practice. She currently serves as Chief Creative Officer for MDE – The Agency which is the consulting firm which was sparked from her books. She also travels internationally speaking and teaching business principles as well as hosts her own MDE Events.
