John Burgin

I am a retired world traveler, USN veteran, and returned prodigal son of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I write compulsively, and have tried to quit several times. I am more of a 'story teller' than 'writer', in that I really cannot tell the difference. I mostly write short stories, but have managed to make it through two very short novels. I have trouble with the entire concept of genre, so there is no telling what I will write about next. It will as always be about ordinary people who find themselves embroiled in extraordinary situations, with a little action and romance thrown in. After all... Isn't that what we are all about anyway?
