Bonnie Moore, 70, is the President and Founder of Golden Girls Network, the only nationwide network that helps mature adults find roommates and access the resources they need to make shared living work. A retired management consultant, Moore came up with the idea for Golden Girls Network after a 2008 divorce left her living alone in a newly remodeled five-bedroom home in Bowie, Maryland. She searched for and found four roommates to fill the empty bedrooms and the group became fast friends. The experience was so positive that Moore embarked on a new career dedicated to helping 50+ adults ease their way into shared living. Drawing on more than six years of experience sharing her home, Moore wrote a book titled "How to Start a Golden Girls Home" and teaches classes on the same topic. A nationally recognized expert in shared living, she has been featured by National Public Radio, the Washington Post and an array of other media outlets. Moore is a graduate of Golden Gate University Law School in San Francisco, California and Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
