Marilyn L. Donnellan, MS, is a modern Renaissance woman. She is an artist, author and successful nonprofit CEO. She has more than 35 years of experience as a nonprofit/NGO CEO, trainer, consultant and speaker, serving in five different nonprofits with budgets from $150,000 to $6 million. Included in her numerous non-fiction books are: the "Nonprofit Management Simplified" series of three books, "The Complete Guide to Church Management" (translated into Chichewa, the native language of The Republic of Malawi, Africa), and the "Nonprofit Toolkit" series. Donnellan’s award-winning material is in use around the world. Her latest book, "Two Faces of Me," is an autobiography based on her alter ego, Sophie Longhoofer, a character she developed for use in her motivational and info talks. Donnellan entered the fiction book market with her murder mystery, "Give ‘til it Hurts," in 2016. In November 2018, a four-book science fiction series was released in paperback and eBook, "The Book Liberators." The books are based on a future America where books, writing and religion are banned. She was a newspaper reporter and photographer before starting her career in nonprofits. Donnellan has published numerous articles in nonprofit trade journals, such as "The Nonprofit Times," "Nonprofit Digest," "Nonprofit Pro," "The Philantrepreneur Journal," and Christianity Today’s "Your Church" magazine.
