My Story After preparing countless guides, pamphlets and hand-outs for beginning coaches in recreational soccer leagues, I decided to simply put it all in one place and make it easily accessible for all interested coaches and parents alike. The result of this effort was Making Youth Soccer Fun! Ages 4 to 8 - A Guide to Coaching. Parents new to the game of soccer and first-time coaches wanted some basic guidance on how to get started in a sport new to them or at an age group they did not completely understand. The first book, Making Youth Soccer Fun! Ages 4 to 8 – A Guide to Coaching, will be followed by others for the older age groups. The next book will continue with the ages of 4 to 8 but will focus entirely on providing even more simple soccer drills and activities. Making Youth Soccer Fun! Ages 4 to 8 – More Drills and Activities. Look for it soon! Coach Paul Sabiston, a veteran soccer player and coach, has played or coached youth soccer for over 35 years at all levels. He played collegiate soccer at Wake Forest University before attending law school. In between working in the public sector or practicing law, Coach Paul enjoys coaching youth soccer at all levels. This book is the first in the series of Making Youth Soccer Fun! that will include other books for soccer coaches, parents, and young players.
