Brooklyn-born Gail Ingis is the author of the memoir, MORE THAN ONE LIFE and two historical romance novels, THE MEMORABLE MRS. DEMPSEY and THE UNFORGETTABLE MISS BALDWIN. Gail believes every life is a novel and our experiences write the next chapter. Beyond writing, Gail is an award-winning artist and art juror, curating creativity at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk, Connecticut, where she serves as a trustee. A retired interior designer and former tennis instructor, Gail’s diverse interests reflect her rich life journey. In 1981, she founded the Interior Design Institute (IDI), that later merged with Berkeley College. She also taught at several universities in the tri-state area including the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID). Gail lives in Connecticut where she and her dashing husband Tom enjoy tennis, gardening, and epic Costco adventures. Together, they’ve nurtured five incredible children, fifteen amazing grandchildren, and three precious great-grandchildren (and counting!)
