Angela Skurtu

Angela Skurtu, M.Ed., LMFT, AASECT Certified, is a speaker, author, couples therapist, sex therapist, and owner of St. Louis Marriage Therapy, LLC. Through her youtube channel (youtube.com/c/AngelaSkurtu) and her podcast (www.aboutsexpodcast.com), Skurtu educates people from all walks of life about relationships and sexuality. She has two books. In January 2018 her second book comes out, "Helping Couples Overcome Infidelity: A Therapist's Manual." This book describes a roadmap for treating infidelity successfully. This problem is commonly seen as one of the most challenging cases to treat. In her book, she describes some of her most difficult cases and offers guidance for how clinicians can still be helpful when the situation seems hopeless. This book covers the predictive factors for marital success, 5 habits of healthy relationships, and tips for keeping the spark in a relationship long term. The book is written for clinicians but is reader friendly, so clients can also gain helpful knowledge from the content as well.
