Tracy Lee Stum began drawing with crayon at the age of 2 and advanced to chalk pastels at age 12. She went on to earn a BFA in Painting and Drawing from Tyler School of Art, and in 1998 accidentally stumbled upon street painting. Drawn to large outdoor art mediums she took to chalk drawing like a fish to water and since then hasn't looked back.
Tracy is now an award winning professional 3D street painter, muralist, and global arts envoy with the US State Department. Internationally recognized by festival directors, peers and fans as one of the finest 3D street painters worldwide, her works have been seen by millions of people in 25 countries. In her 18 years of street painting her works have been presented at the Olympics, the SuperBowl, on TEDX talks, at international art festivals, and featured on TV and commercials. Passionate about arts education, Tracy travels the globe conducting street painting workshops and demonstrations geared towards inspiring youth and enhancing cultural exchange initiatives. She is excited to add author to her credentials with the upcoming 'The Art of Chalk' (Rockport Publishers, May 15, 2016).
