Dean Regas

Dean Regas wants to be your astronomer. With more than 25 years experience working at planetariums and observatories, Dean has become a renowned educator and a national popularizer of astronomy. For nearly a decade, he was the co-host of the syndicated PBS, TV show Star Gazers from 2010-2019. Dean is the creator and cohost of the podcast "Looking Up," and is the author of six books. Dean's mission is to get everyone to marvel at the night sky with the naked eye - then look through a telescope to behold the craters of the Moon, the rings of Saturn, and stars beyond measure. For Dean, astronomy is more than a career - it is his lifestyle. He lives by the simple motto, "Keep Looking Up!"
