Aлександр Петрович Барyффи (b. 1973) is an ancient historian, writer, poet, and researcher in the fields of American, Germanic, and Russian literature. Russian Orthodox Christian, political dissident and freedom-fighter, he grew up on the sunny hillsides of the Rhaetian Alps mountains in Italy, where he spent a musing youth. Soon after graduating at the University of Milan, he set off to see the world, dwelling in London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Nîmes, Provence and in the USA - in NYC, Princeton, and Philadelphia, working in the Online Publishing industry.
