Kyla J Steinkraus lives in Georgia with her family, two spoiled cats, and a giant, 115-pound Great Pyrenees rescue dog. She is the author of 29 educational children's books. She's also written health, fitness, and parenting articles for dozens of publications including Pregnancy, Mothering, Babble.com, Atlanta Parent, and Carolina Parent.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking to waterfalls, tubing, photography, drawing, reading, and playing board games with her family. Her favorite treats are dark chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough.
