Filippo Ulivieri (1977) is a writer and lecturer, described by The New York Times as Italy’s leading Kubrick expert. He is the author of "Stanley Kubrick and Me: Thirty Years at His Side," a biography of Kubrick’s personal assistant Emilio D’Alessandro, which he adapted into the film "S is for Stanley," winner of the David di Donatello award for Best Documentary Feature. Through original research and his efforts as a popularizer of the latest scholarship on Kubrick, Ulivieri is bridging the gap between fandom and academia.
