Sibel Baskal

Sibel Başkal is a theoretical physicist at Middle East Technical University, Ankara. She is interested in the manifestations of Poincaré, Lorentz and little groups and of group contractions in physical sciences. Her interests also extend to classical field theories such as sigma models, non-abelian gauge fields and general relativity, with a particular focus on alternative approaches. The current book entitled "Physics of the Lorentz group" is a culmination of those interests as well as many years of collaboration with the co-authors.
