She has had regular health, fitness and beauty columns in many of these publications. Michele won a 2017 National Health Information award for a Family Circle article on back pain. Also, a series of seven articles that she wrote for Family Circle won a Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. She also won the Samter Journalism Award from the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and Excellence in Media Award from the Skin Cancer Foundation.
