Ingrid Adelsberger is a home cook and the editor of the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis Cookbook. She was diagnosed with MS in 2011 and found the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis program the same year. After successfully following the diet for about a year and struggling emotionally with not being able to eat the food she had to give up, she fell off the wagon. She wondered if cooking tastier meals would make it easier to stick to the diet, and the idea of a cookbook for people with MS was born. Since her diagnosis, Ingrid has become interested in the benefits of nutrition, meditation, and fitness. She is now a yoga instructor and a health coach, helping other people create a happy, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle for themselves. Born in Vienna, Austria, Ingrid lived in New York City for over a decade, and recently relocated with her husband to Los Angeles. Ingrid has been successfully managing her MS on the Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis program since 2011.
