Sara Crocoll Smith (she/her) is the author of the ghostly gothic horror series Hopeful Horror. She’s also the award-winning editor of the Love Letters to Poe anthologies. Smith is a screenwriter and producer for “The Strangle of Ivy,” a short film adapted from Smith’s gothic horror story of the same name. Smith enjoys exploring the depths of the human psyche in her stories. She’s drawn to horror that serves as a catharsis, facing and overcoming the Big Bad.
