Sarah Carleton

Sarah Carleton is a certified Master Black Belt and the principal of Sarah A Carleton Consulting, providing Lean and Six Sigma training and mentoring. She has 35 years of experience as an engineer, manager, and trainer in the lighting and healthcare industries. She has trained over 1000 practitioners, Green Belts, Black Belts, and Master Black Belts in classroom settings, and she has reached thousands more through e-learning. She has a BA in physics from Middlebury College and an MS in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. She holds 8 patents and has written several publications. She is the lead LSS trainer/consultant for GOAL/QPC. Sarah lives with her husband, whose pottery business is the subject of countless continuous improvement events that provide fun examples for her students. Her hobbies include photography, yoga, and reading.
