Elena Santogade’s home cheesemaking adventures eventually led her to pursue a full-blown career in the cheese industry. She started as a cheesemonger, became an American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional® and went on to open and manage two distinct cheese-focused retail operations in New York City. Elena worked with Connecticut-based Arethusa Farm in 2014 on product development and sales, and she is currently a Sales Manager for Grafton Village Cheese Co. in Vermont.
