Andrew Hui is an Assistant Professor of Literature at Yale-NUS College. He received his PhD from Princeton University in Department of Comparative Literature and is a graduate of St John’s College, Annapolis. From 2009-2012, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University. In 2012, he joined Yale-NUS as part of the inaugural faculty to help create the first liberal arts college in Singapore. His publications have appeared in venues such as the Harvard Journal of Asiatic Studies, I Tatti Studies in the Renaissance, Journal of the History of Ideas, and Renaissance Drama. He has received fellowships from Villa I Tatti, Florence; The Warburg Institute, London; a summer grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Centre for the Study of the Book at Oxford's Bodleian Library.
