Rick Gillespie-Mobley

Rick Gillespie-Mobley was born in Dublin, Ga. He graduated from Hornell Sr. High School in Hornell, NY, Hamilton College (B.A.) in Clinton, NY, Gordon Conwel Theological Seminary (M.Div) in S. Hamilton, MA, Boston University School of Law (J.D.) in Boston, MA, and Trinity Bible College and Seminary (D. Min) in Newburgh, IN. Rick has pastored urban churches with his wife Toby for hnearly 40 years. He enjoys writing books to assist the local church in producing ministry teams and leaders. He has a passion for writing bible studies. His background as an attorney equips him to see biblical passages from a slightly different viewpoint while being committed to authority of Scriptures for one's life. His goal in his writings is to provide people with a deeper understanding of who God is. Rick and Toby have been married since 1980. They have traveled around the country as speakers for conferences, revivals, and seminars. Audiences love their down to earth practical teaching and preaching which equips them for everyday life. Rick is gifted in the area of doing eulogies, and he strongly desires to pass that talent on to others. His hobbies include photography, reading, and hitting the treadmill. His favorite author is C.S. Lewis.
