Jacqueline Opresnik

Jacqueline Opresnik lives in Ontario, Canada, with her husband Frank and Bengal cat Tiggy. She received her degree in mathematics and geology from Brock University. She earned her pilot's licence shortly after, where she met her husband. Jackie pursued a teaching career and taught in the elementary grades. She has had a love of writing since she was ten and is just now beginning to fulfill her dreams as an author. Her favourite topics relate to history and genealogy. From a young age she listened with awe to her grandmother’s stories of her Scottish family. She has worked on her own family history for many years and has since proven and disproven many family myths. It's taken many years to complete her story of the Grants, loosly based on stories of her grandmother's siblings. Her more recent work-The Hunt for William Williamson was based on her own hunt for a missing Great Grandfather.
