Kieron Connolly

Kieron Connolly is the author of Dark History of Hollywood (updated in 2023 as The History of Hollywood) and three books about the abandoned world: Abandoned Places, Abandoned Civilisations and Abandoned Castles, as well as Forests and Bloody History of America (updated in 2023 as The History of America). For children, his books include Stories of the Constellations, Disasters, World's Worst Monsters & Villains and, as co-author, Dragons. He is a graduate in History from the University of Edinburgh and in screenwriting from the National Film & Television School. He has worked as an editor in publishing for many years and as a journalist has written for the Mail on Sunday, the Daily Mail and The Times. He lives in London.
