Lee McCormack

关于作者

Lee McCormack is one of the most effective bicycle skills authors and instructors in the world. Since the first edition of Mastering Mountain Bike Skills was published, McCormack has taught thousands of riders of all ages, from first timers to top pros, to ride better, faster, and safer. As the skills development director for the National Interscholastic Cycling Association, Lee created the curriculum and training manual used to train high school mountain bike coaches throughout the United States. Thanks to this program, more teens are having more fun—and riding more safely. Lee’s writing and infographics have appeared in many cycling and general interest publications, and he has contributed to two International Mountain Biking Association books. Back in his newspaper days, McCormack was part of the team that won the 1998 Pulitzer Prize for public service. McCormack enjoys all styles of riding from pump track to dirt jump to slalom to slopestyle to trail and downhill. The better Lee gets at teaching, the better he gets at riding. He’s having more fun than ever! McCormack lives in Boulder, Colorado, with his wife, Arlette, their girls Finley and Fiona, and their Hungarian Pumi named Winner. Their adult children Kate and Ian are off doing great things.
