Lisa Braithwaite, M.A. is on a mission to help purpose-driven business and nonprofit leaders build visibility, credibility, and awareness for their work through engaging presentations. Her background as an advocate and trainer in the nonprofit sector and her degrees in theater and education have influenced her upbeat and accessible approach to public speaking training. In 2017, she published her book, "Presenting for Humans: Insights for Speakers on Ditching Perfection and Creating Connection." She's been hired by companies as diverse as Microsoft, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Massachusetts Association of Realtors®, and AgWest Commodities for her unique approach to presentation skills training. She's been interviewed for her public speaking perspective and expertise in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Men's Health, Toastmaster Magazine, Inc.com and on numerous podcasts. She's a member of the National Speakers Association and a Certified Virtual Presenter of Excellence. Residing in Ojai, California with her husband Rudy, she's mom to two rescue kitties, Ernie and Benjamin, who are Instagram celebrities. Lisa models authentic, aligned, collaborative and FUN presentations using relevant, practical and useful content that activates the audience's emotional engagement and moves them into action. Lisa's philosophy is that public speaking is fun, it's an awesome way to express yourself creatively, and it offers an accelerated approach to developing an intimate and trusting relationship with your target audience. When she’s not working with clients, she can be found snuggling with her cats, drinking wine with her husband, cooking, eating, or reading about cooking and eating.
