Juan José Pucci

Cardiovascular surgeon by profession and a naturalist by vocation. Has practiced photography for more than 30 years, traveling extensively throughout the Costa Rican National Parks and reserves. Has participaded in 10 individual and 20 collective photo exhibits, including one at the World Museum in San Francisco, California. Also the Munich Theater, Germany and the Geraadsbergen Museum, Belgium. He has been chosen as the photographer of the year in 10 occasions by the Costa Rican Photography Club, and won the picture of the year many times. His images have been published in multiple media, including books, calendars and magazines of international prestige, such as Photolife, Natures Best and Black and White. He has published 8 books of his own, the last six with his sons, all nature topics of Costa Rica.
