David J. Endelman

David Endelman (aka the “Other Dave”) is the editor and a contributor to the collab book of gag cartoons called "Hold That Thought: 12 Cartoonists on Their Worlds of Humor." This cartoon anthology features notable cartoonists from very different genres of humor musing about what is funny in their unique worlds of imagination.

Additionally, Dave draws cartoons of signs. Dave is perhaps the most prolific cartoonist of signs in English on the Internet! No one really knows why. Dave's previous book, “Different Signs: Cartoons from Sign Garden,” features a special selection of signs found along stretches of Dave’s imagination.

Dave is an exhibited computer-graphics artist, map maker, and picture-book illustrator. His speaking engagements have taken him around the world. He has received many awards for his work in GIS cartography and cartooning. Dave has also been acknowledged for his passion for prompt dishwashing.
