Dr. Artur Braun is a Berkeley trained Physicist from RWTH Aachen with a doctoral degree from ETH Zürich. His field of expertise is electrochemical energy storage and conversion, and the in situ and operando combination of neutron and x-ray spectroscopy and scattering with electroanalytical methods.
Current activities include artificial photosynthesis, self organized systems and cooperative phenomena.
Artur is a Marie Curie Fellow. His Erdös number is 3. Foreign Policy magazine listed him as Leading Global Thinker of 2014.
