Katrina Lee, John C. Elam/Vorys Sater Professor in Law at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, teaches the business of law, legal writing, and negotiations. She was honored in 2024 with OSU's Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching. She has been selected twice by students for the Morgan E. Shipman Outstanding Professor Award--by the Class of 2022 and the Class of 2024. She is the author of numerous scholarly articles and the book The Legal Career: Knowing the Business, Thriving in Practice. Before she became a professor, Katrina enjoyed a career as a corporate litigator in San Francisco. She practiced law for more than 12 years. After six years in practice, Katrina was elevated to equity partner at her law firm. Katrina earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. Katrina has served on the boards of the Bar Association of San Francisco, Self-Help for the Elderly, the Association of Legal Writing Directors, and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Central Ohio.
