Boggon, Sharon

Originally trained as a painter in the visual arts then shifted to the world of fiber. I have always stitched but focused more on embroidery when I did a Masters degree did it in textiles. I have taught crazy quilting and hand embroidery internationally, and online, and was a lecturer in the Textiles Department at the Canberra School of Art at the Australian National University. I share my passion textiles on PinTangle.com where I run stitchers challenges, offer tutorials, free patterns, and eye candy galore. My aim with Pintangle.com is to promote and encourage hand embroidery.
