Abbey Sy

Abbey Sy is an artist and author from Manila, Philippines. Throughout her creative career, she has written and illustrated bestselling books on hand lettering, journaling, and living a creative life.

She has authored The ABCs of Hand Lettering, The ABCs of Journaling, Always Be Creating: A Field Guide to Living a Creative Life, and her books from Quarto Creates include Hand Lettering A to Z, The Complete Photo Guide to Hand Lettering and Calligraphy, and Hand Lettering A to Z Workbook.

With a love for art and travel, Abbey has dedicated her life to exploring new places, documenting them on her journals, and building a community that provides ideas and inspiration for your creative journey.

Her new book, The Art of the Travel Journal, comes out in August 2022.
