Writing has always been a lifelong dream. Finally, a few years ago, I ventured into the world of Western Fiction. I am honored to have a great team: Dusty Saddles Publishing, Nick Wale - Publicist, and Katrina Turner - Social Media Guru. Currently, I have several Western Series on Amazon: Chet Henderson: Texas Ranger Adventure Series, Bear Willis: Mountain Man Series, and Willie McGee: Mountain Man Series. Along with a co-write with my granddaughter. In creating my Westerns, I wanted to do three things, be authentic, create likable characters, and tell a good story. With a lot of hard work and prayer, my books have been well received, so I must be doing something right. Recently, I was the recipient of the 2022 Robert L. Hanlon Award for Western Storytelling Excellence. I live with my wife of fifty-four years and our cat Moxie on Rattlesnake Ridge, Maryland. (No, really, that was the original name!) We are lucky that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandsons all live close by. I enjoy woodcarving, fishing, and pampering my classic Jaguar when I'm not writing. I donate a portion of the profits from my books to Veteran’s charities, including the Veteran’s Independence Project.
