Marina Saumell

I was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina in 1975. I have a degree in Architecture and worked as an architect for several years. My love for children’s books inspired me to become a freelance illustrator following the birth of my first child. My illustration technique is based on the use of light to model shapes and create textures. The illustrations resemble paintings on canvas.
