Richard Evans

Rich Evans is a best-selling author, working for most of his career as an associate professor at Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, but he’s also consulted for other veterinary colleges and medical schools, and for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. He's a past president of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, the first non-veterinarian to hold that position. That work has given him the opportunity to travel internationally, most recently to Mallorca, where he spent a day cliff jumping. He spends most of his free time outside, backpacking, rock climbing, paddling, or just day hiking with his kids in the state parks and forests near his Minnesota home.
