Sandy Williams

Sandy is a long time resident of Southwest Lower Michigan and loves using the local birds, animals and flowers as subjects for her gouache paintings. After receiving many requests, she has put together a series of workbooks containing the information she uses to teach her painting with gouache classes. The workbooks include clear and concise step by step demonstrations on creating very realistic and detailed illustrations of birds, animals, toads and turtles, butterflies and moths and botanical subjects. This medium is definitely for the detail oriented! Sandy has also written and illustrated several children's picture books, frequently with a horse or pony figuring into the story.
