Laura Sandefer

Laura Sandefer is a wife, a mom and the co-founder of Acton Academy, a school whose learner-driven model is spreading like wildfire across the globe. Her greatest hero is her mother, a master science teacher and poet. Her wisest mentor is her father, a philosophical pastor, who sent her off to college with two words of advice: “Be curious.” Laura holds a B.A. in Communication and a Masters of Education from Vanderbilt University.
