Allan McCampbell

Allan McCampbell was born in rural Virginia. He grew up in a working class family with a “can-do” attitude that led him to try many different career paths. Coming from a mining community meant that he spent his early years thinking that hard work would always win out, yet he watched the community around him remain poor despite the hard work of many in it.

His desire to write came from his sister. In 2003, she developed cancer and while Allan had always scribbled here and there he never really made an effort to do anything more with it. She pushed him to try and speak at a local motivational event and the popularity of his thoughts was undeniable.

Allan has now written several books in the self-help and motivational niche with plans to write many more. He still lives in the mountains of rural Virginia with his family, though he travels for motivational events and continues to teach others the importance of motivation, a “can-do” attitude, and pushing yourself to be the best you can be.
