Christopher Yorke grew up in the hills of North Clark County in Washington State. He graduated from Washington State University with degrees in Agriculture and Economics. After a 32 year career of teaching Agriculture Science he began writing about one of his passions, distilling moonshine and other spirits. Mr. Yorke learned the process of distilling at a small craft distillery in SW Washington. At this point he has written six books about distilling. The Whiskey Distiller's Training Manual, the Moonshine Distiller's Training Manual, the Home Distilling Handbook, the Home Distilling Handbook 2nd Edition, 150 Distilling Recipes, and The Ultimate Home Distilling Handbook.
