Sherri Snyder is a Los Angeles-based actress, writer, and Barbara La Marr biographer. Portraying silent screen siren Barbara La Marr in the Pasadena Playhouse and Pasadena Museum of History production Channeling Hollywood---a production in which five actors researched, wrote, and performed the life stories of their respective characters in monologue form---was a dream come true for Sherri. She regularly portrays Barbara in a self-authored, one-woman performance piece; created a Barbara La Marr tribute website; lectures about Barbara; and authored Barbara La Marr: The Girl Who Was Too Beautiful for Hollywood, the first full-length Barbara La Marr biography. The book, written at the request of Barbara's son, Donald Gallery, after he viewed Sherri's Channeling Hollywood performance, was selected as one of the Huffington Post’s "Best Film Books of 2017" and included in The Entertainment Report's "Best Celebrity Bios" of 2017 listing.
